Kevin Sinclair
I focus on graphic, abstract, clean architectural lines, which are often found in unexpected places. I experiment by taking photos from a different angle, and view point thus avoiding 'chocolate box' clichés. I'm an adopter of digital technology but sometimes certain photo opportunities best lend themselves to film and vintage cameras like a Rolleiflex or a Minolta. It was my father the artist, Michael Noble who actually got me started in photography. He taught me how to use his Rolleiflex and even how to develop film and print at a young age. I'm still using his 46 year old camera. Another one of my inspirations is my great uncle Tazio Nuvolari the legendary racing driver. He too was an enthusiastic amateur photographer. There was recently a posthumous exhibition of his work in Mantova, Italy.
